Lately I’ve been thinking about ways to make Creative Addiction more interactive. I’ve been kicking around the idea of using this blog as a platform for other creatives to share their stories, whether it’s a successful career transition or a new up and coming project. Nowadays people need to be inspired – inspired to pursue their dreams and reach their goals and YOUR story just may be the one to help them do just that!

This new addition will be called Project Inspiration for obvious reasons. Like I stated before, this is just an idea that I have, but I need help with bringing all the details together. That’s where you guys come in. I would really like some suggestions on how you think I could make this idea fun, cool and most of all inspirational. Any help is appreciated.

What say you? 🙂

This past week was a pretty rough one for me; I encountered LOTS of negativity, lost some money due to a stupid mistake and even had a couple of setbacks. It was one of those weeks where I felt like there was no light at the end the tunnel. I felt like I took 3 steps forward, only to take 5 steps back. Have you ever felt this way? Usually when I feel this way I start a nice little pity party for myself complete with self downing and sometimes tears. There are always people available to RSVP too. It seems like there are more people willing to support you when you’re being a Negative Nelly than when you’re trying to maintain a positive attitude.

Sometime during the week while I sat at my cubicle I had an epiphany: In order for me to make it through these times, I MUST maintain a positive outlook, even if I don’t have the support of others. I’m DONE with all the negativity.  I’m challenging myself to stay positive no matter the situation. Sounds hard, right? I’m sure it will be, but I’m up for the challenge. What about you?
